Prior to joining Braze, Godfrey was a senior leader in the Middle East’s leading marketplace, Souq.com which was acquired by Amazon in 2017. There he led regional marketing for the Middle East and North Africa region. He brings over 15 years experience to the company, grounded in digital marketing, mobile, and eCommerce technology from Amazon, Namshi, and Facebook.

Peter Semple is the Chief Marketing Officer at Depop, the fashion marketplace app with a cult Gen-Z following and 20 million users worldwide. Prior to Depop, Peter spent seven years leading product and marketing innovation projects at Google's Creative Lab in New York and London: working across existing Google products and emergent technologies. Prior to that, he worked in creative agencies on big consumer brands including Converse, Nike, O2, Coca-Cola. Outside his professional career, Peter has launched a couple of personal fashion projects and is obsessive about music, technology, design, youth culture and sneakers (he's collected them for 20 years). Peter lives in London with his wife, two children and his dog Midnight.
